Large Format Polished Tile Steam Shower

This customer provided photos from start to finish. This is a gorgeous 24x48 large format polished tile. Installation of large tiles requires a little more skill and patience. In addition, you will have more waste with large tiles as breaks and mistakes will consume more of your square footage. So, be careful and understand the complexity of installing large tile. This customer said he purchased 30% more than the actual tile needed and used it all.

Unique to this shower installation is the fact they tiled the shower ceiling. This is uncommon in most installations.

What is interesting about large format tile is the reduced lines of grout. Often the grout lines can add to the design itself by setting off the design or remaining neutral in color. When you look at this tiled shower, you notice the veins in the zebrino and not the grout lines. We are super excited to share this customer project and their large format purchase.
